A massive thanks goes to Shaun Simpson from Whalsay who has released a new CD “Oldies but Goldies” which is being sold for #ShetlandMRI. Shaun sings a host of popular cover songs on the CD – including Roy Orbison’s hit Pretty Woman. This is a collection of music which will make a great #Christmas present – most especially because it is #Shetland made.

It costs £10 (or more if you are happy to make a donation) and is available at Tetley & Anderson's on Whalsay and at the Tourist Information Centre in Lerwick. It is also available directly from Shaun by messaging him or his mum, Netta, (Janette Kathleen Simpson) through Facebook. Chatting to Netta recently she said Shaun had been singing for many years and is known for his involvement with the Whalsay band, Black Pepper. Netta admitted she is his number one fan!!!
