Through their Bean Feast after-party, held at Gremista Farm on Friday, December 13, they raised £1000 for the MRI Scanner – money which has been handed over by party organiser and Anderson pupil, Vhairi Graham, 16.

The batteries generated £215.

Six-year-old Chloe suffers from Klippel Feil Syndrome (KFS) – a rare congenital , musculoskeletal condition. For one so young, she has already been to Aberdeen and Edinburgh for two MRI scans, in addition to a CT scan in Lerwick. As a result, the family is acutely aware of the potential benefits of having an MRI scanner located in Shetland.
