Audience and Drama Group raise £500 for MRI Scanner

The biggest donation to date for the MRI Scanner Appeal - an amazing £10,000 - was presented to Ralph Roberts at the Shoard Shop in Whalsay.

It will be good for a laugh, plenty of fun but also for a very worthwhile cause when three colleagues from the Hjaltland Housing Association shave their heads to raise money for the MRI Scanner next month.

The second in a series of videos from the MRI Scanner Appeal was released on September 25. Harriet Middleton starred, revealing her personal story and how her experience with cancer made her determined to raise money for a scanner in Shetland.

Aith Charity Shop this week donated £2,000 to the MRI Scanner appeal - money raised through selling donated second hand clothes and goods to the community.
