Doull Family Fundraising

It has truly been a fundraising family affair for the Doulls from Sullom. Six-year-old Chloe suffers from Klippel Feil Syndrome (KFS) – a rare congenital , musculoskeletal condition. For one so young, she has already been to Aberdeen and Edinburgh for two MRI scans, in addition to a CT scan in Lerwick. As a result, the family is acutely aware of the potential benefits of having an MRI scanner located in Shetland.

Friends 60th Birthday Party Donation

Some friendships are meant to last a lifetime, which is most definitely the case for Beryl Fraser and John Johnson who recently held a combined 60th birthday party. In lieu of gifts, the friends, who hail from Send on the West Side, and who met as children when their families were neighbours, asked for donations for the Scanner Appeal.

Celtic Supporters' Club Donate £1000

The football banter was all friendly when the Celtic Supporters’ Club (Shetland Branch) handed over a cheque of £1000 to the MRI Scanner Appeal represented by Hearts supporting Fundraising manager Derek Hart!
