What better opportunity to raise money for a great cause than an 80th birthday bash – especially when there are two of you!!

Five ladies from Vidlin organised a Soup & Sweet event in the hall and raised £1,303 for Shetland MRI Scanner Appeal. The event took place on Sunday 1st March.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Dougie Grant and all his friends and family. They recently held a 70th birthday celebration in Sound Hall and managed to raise a whopping £730 for Shetland MRI Scanner Appeal.

Shetland sisters Susan Burns and Ali Rennie have donated £1900 to the MRI Scanner Appeal to mark the lives of their parents, Tom and Patricia Bulley, who died last year.

A lot has been done to raise money for the MRI Scanner Appeal but raffling your chest hair (it made £65!) takes the prize for the most original effort.
