First donation to Shetland MRI scanner Appeal
The first donation to the Shetland MRI Scanner appeal came from Duncan Smith of Sandwick on his 95th birthday.
Mr Smith said: “I asked my granddaughter what she was working on just now. She told me all about the fundraising campaign, so I really wanted to put something towards it. Having an MRI scanner here is a thing that could help any of us at a time when we need it most".
