Shetland MRI Scanner Appeal Progress Update 31 December 2021

In the summer 2018, we started out on this incredible journey for raising funds for #ShetlandMRI and the #Shetland community have well and truly proven that #ShetlandCAN in so many different ways.  We are probably not quite there yet but what an incredible community effort we have seen so far. 

Thank you to everyone in Shetland and those living in other parts of the world that have been involved in fundraising for your generosity in time or money to help make this an incredible successful journey!

The clinical service specification for the MRI Scanner has been signed off and procurement will commence shortly. Once potential suppliers have submitted their respective bids we will be able to reassess the true final cost of the project. An update will then follow on timescale to complete our journey together to have a permanent operational MRI scanner in Shetland #ShetlandMRI.
